“Saving Lives
Several years of training and experience contributed to this achievement. Serving as a police commandant in the anti-terrorism police unit I contributed much in edging out terrorism. Terrorism had intensely affected our tourism sector. The moment of my greatest achievement in the military service came during a terror attack where terrorists had kidnapped and captured one of the countrys major tourist hotels. I was informed that terrorists had kidnapped about numerous tourists. Together with my squad we had to make quick measures in order to rescue and save lives.
There was limited time left to communicate the issue assign roles develop strategies and on top of this make concrete decisions regarding life and death. Despite the situation being critical my focus lay on leading my colleagues to secure the trapped tourists. I sigh of relief came to me after all the tourists were safely secured.
During my tenure as the commandant for seven years I was mostly involved in securing and saving people and the country at large from terror attacks. Planning and executing of life saving missions proved out to be the most challenging task in this service.
Creating Synergy
Working in my first job in a distributing company helped me to discover my hidden potential. Selected as the marketing strategist I managed to persuade the management to allow my efforts in collaborating with customers. The deteriorating relationship between the company and its major consumers ensured that the authority was reluctant to consider my request. Undeterred by their reluctance I made my own personal efforts to address the issue.
Afterwards a team was formed with me as the leader to improve the situation. Once I was handed the mantle I knew winning back the customers trust was crucial in the development of the company. However this was not easy and required much attention. Leading the team we addressed this challenge and reestablish the existing business relationship as well as establish new customers.
This achievement greatly built up my experience in dealing with high ranked officials in my young age. The partnership portrayed in this project was beneficial to the company and consumers at large. To date I recall that achievement as an opportunity that paved way to success in my profession.
Authenticating my vision
Initiating software development in my final university project was a major accomplishment that shaped the direction of life.
After working on the project for several months I noticed that I have made major mistakes in the project. This left me quite frustrated but there was no time to quit since the project was a key determinant of my career. I knew whether I like it or not I had to overcome this big obstacle in my way within the limited time left. I devised an effective plan to reorganize my project. This included investing much of the remaining time on the project. My attitude was a great motivation to my fellow colleagues who had reached the same stalemate like me. In return this gave me more inspiration to carry on and even keep the others moving. Eventually I managed to improve my project and in fact becoming the best overall amongst the other projects.
The project installed in me a good experience of commitment and never giving up. Apart from the project being the best overall this accomplishment was crucial in validating my professional vision in the future endeavors.”
